The Time Machine

Part 1: STAR LABS

The year is 2042, in the city of Central City, America. STAR LABS has now become a famous laboratory. This laboratory opened in 2030. The head of this place is Harrison Wells. Some of the employees there are also very famous, such as Cisco Ramon, Barry Allen, Iris West Allen, Caitlin Snow, and Joe West.

Part 2: The New Invention

In the past year, they’ve been working on a project—yes, a time machine. This project didn’t succeed right away. This is the 13th version. Every time, there was a problem. As you can tell from the name of the machine, it allows you to travel through time. You can travel to the year 1000, 3000, or any year you want. You can see yourself there, but you mustn’t let anyone see you, or else you risk changing your own timeline, your future, or even destroying the entire future—or your own time.

Part 3: The Volunteer

STAR LABS is looking for a volunteer to try the project with their famous team and Harrison Wells for 2 million dollars. Guess who was chosen? That’s right, me, 30-year-old Arvan Abdi from Iran, raised in the Netherlands, and now living in Central City, America.

Part 4: Trying the Project

It’s time to try the machine. Each of us gets to choose a time to visit with a partner. I chose to go to 1998. My partner is Cisco Ramon, who I had hoped for. At 4:30 PM, we will activate the machine and give it a try.

It’s now 4:30. Yes, it’s time. Cisco and I are ready to go. We feel very excited. I just met Cisco today—he’s a kind person and very curious. I won’t talk much about Cisco because the story is about something else. We need to stand in front of the machine, and with the press of a button, a sort of energy will come out of the time machine. Let’s go.

Part 5: 1998

We are now in 1998. It was truly a strange feeling to do that. But look, what’s interesting here? It seems that STAR LABS didn’t exist at all in 1998. Cisco and I are really shocked. “Let’s go and see what the city looks like,” Cisco said. “Yes, let’s go,” I agreed. We’re now in the city, looking for a place where we can see everything, but no one can see us, because the rule was that no one should see us. We found a hidden spot where no one could see us. But our goal is also to explore the entire city, so we decide to go up the mountain to get a better view of everything. Fortunately, the mountain was nearby, and no one saw us.

Now we’re at the top of the mountain. The city is beautiful and classic. It was an amazing experience
